I think that the big problem that is going to face these top tier free agents is the ability to find a good supporting cast because teams have shed so much salary in order to get them. I think the Chargers got an excellent player, but it is certainly debatable as to whether he would have been there later in the first round and the Chargers overpaid for him.

With Tebow, I did not see him getting drafted until the second round, but I think the Broncos should be given credit for moving back in the round, still getting “their guy,” while adding an additional pick. I think this is a good contrast to the Jags lousy night in getting “their guy” who would have certainly been available much later in the day.
