NFL Gameday did a long segment on Vince Young and whether he should have come back sooner to help the Titans. To their credit most of the analysts said “no.” Except Warren Sapp… Looking ahead to Christmas, that’s going to be a wild match up. The Chargers and Titans always play each other hard in tough physical games.
The Chargers will have two goals that day: contain Chris Johnson and win, and stay healthy. They’ve had the winning part down against the Titans, but have come out of those games bruised and bloody and unfortunately, injured. This is not how they need to be in late December with a potential play-off run in the works. All I want for Christmas is a healthy Charger team to be able to make a run.
